Here’s a recipe for immortality. Put your essence into a vessel (two vessels in my case). Nurture them with love and watch them grow. Keep them from harm as much as possible but when they hurt be sure you’ve given them enough substance and capacity that they can overcome the pain. And flourish.
Don’t teach them greed. Instead teach them to indulge themselves in the subtle rewards that come from honest service. Humility seasoned with a grasp of their own immeasurable strength and integrity will go far in transforming them into honorable adults. Then settle back and let the universe do its darndest.
Now you haven’t changed the world but you have left it with a part of you that will endure for generations. And that’s a heap better than acquiring untold wealth through deceit and chicanery. Wouldn’t you agree?
